For Louie’s readings I did the survey before I started the readings. My type is ESFJ. That means I am a provider. The first reading I read was about the left side. That means that a person is dominant on the left side of their brain. They are thought of as the logical, thinking side. People who are left sided like classical music, are good at math, like to read, can’t be hypnotized, love dogs, think better when they are sitting down, like to be organized, and much more. The next article was about people who are right brain dominant. They are considered the dreamers, the artists, and the musicians of the world. They like rock music, good at art, love cats, can be hypnotized, like to act out stories, unpredictable and spontaneous, and more. We learned about right and left brained last year and we took a quiz and I was right brained even though I do have some left-brain tendencies. The other articles I read were for Dominique’s group. I like that they’re doing their presentation on relationships in college. It’s important because we are in college now and these are real life situations. People are now free and can do whatever they want. You’re parents aren’t here to tell you who you can and cannot date. You are in charge of your own life. Being in a relationship can be a good thing but it can also be a bad thing. You have to find a balance between relationships and school. You can’t make your whole life around your significant other. Not only do you need to have good relationships with your boyfriend/girlfriend, but you need to have good relationships with your roommates. They are apart of your college experience and you need to maintain a healthy relationship with them to get through college.
