What is Convocation? That's what I asked myself before walking down to Lyman Center. I don’t actually know what I was expecting Convocation to be. When I saw Professors, Presidents, and Officers walking down in gowns, I was confused. Then I realized it was for the class of 2015. It was kind of like Dean’s Day and Orientation but with the gowns. Dr. Stanley F. Battle spoke about our futures. It was topics I’ve already heard about. He talked about maintaining a high GPA because without one, you will fall far behind. College is our future. You need to be successful in whatever your future holds for you. This is our time.
