STRESS. We all have it especially now that we’re in college. These last couple of weeks I have been mobbed with homework and of course I start to freak out. But freaking out and becoming stressed is not the answer. The other night I have a paper due and loads of homework. I didn’t know how I was going to finish and I turned to my roommate for help. We called up our friend and had her come pick us up so I could get out of the dorm. We went on a long drive and then sat down in Barnes and Noble and drank coffee and read magazines. It was so peaceful and nice to catch up with my friends that it made me more relaxed. Sometimes you just need to get out for a little while and clear your head instead of being cooped up in the dorm room. Another strategy I’ve used is to take a breather. Go outside and get some fresh air. The weather is becoming much nicer and it’s good to get out for a little while. Take deep breaths to relieve any stress that you may have and get all the anxiety out of you. There are so many other strategies you can do to make yourself less stressed. Go outside for a nice walk. You can go with a friend or even just go with your iPod. Listening to music is a great way to escape from everything around you. Listen to some of your favorite songs and sing your heart out. Manage your time better so you’re not finding yourself saving every homework assignment for last minute. You are bound to become stressed because of that. Talk to friends when you’re stressed. They’ll make you laugh and have a good time instead of being stressed out. There are so many things you can do to make life a little bit easier.
